Richard Schoonmaker is the graphic designer, web designer, editor, and author of all original content for this website, L 2 T – Second Language & Technology. He has 10 years of experience in the teaching of English as a second or foreign language, and he has more than 10 years of experience as a student of second or foreign languages. In May of 2014, he completed an M.A. in Second Language Studies at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, where he focused his studies on the role of technology in all aspects of second language learning, second language teaching, and second language communication. This website is the culmination of 3 years of academic study and research, and many years of teaching and learning experience.
